Personally, I prefer Flipboard than Pocket because of several reasons. First of all, page layouts are my first impression. Flipboard's one looks great compared to Pocket as it has more interesting features and more rounded appearance. It is quite difficult to criticise which one is better because both of them perform slightly different function. For instance, you can create your own live “magazine” by using Flipboard while if you would like to save your favourite contents like news or even videos from YouTube to read or watch them later, it would be better to use Pocket. The main downside of Flipboard is that it is incapable to read without an Internet connection.

Secondly, there is no need to register with the application for Flipboard whereas Pocket, it is required to sign up. In addition, Pocket looked very difficult to use at first sight. You have to read through how to save articles, videos, or images. In the other hand, it looked pretty simple to use Flipboard by just tapping each column, which already categorised for you or flip the page over and you will see more stories. I love to be up-to-date on news and current situations in different parts of the world. Also, being able to know music trends everyday or every week directly and instantly is another reason why I choose Flipboard to be my favourite app.

In fact, you can use Flipboard as a substitute for those social networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter. Moreover, updating your status and new photos or sharing contents is not a problem at so that you do not have to use both apps back and fourth. This is very convenient for users.

Overall, Flipboard and Pocket have plenty of fun to play around. Both of them support each other. You may use Flipboard to read present articles and use Pocket to save it to look at them later. These apps are very useful and also suitable for everyone, especially people in a busy world like this. In opinion, asking me to choose for my favourite app, it would be Flipboard as it is easy to use and more interesting features are built in it.
